Learn about your own health.
If you have a medical condition, it’s important to talk to your doctor or other healthcare providers. You can ask about what you can expect in the future (your prognosis) because of your medical condition. You can learn what the medical treatments for your condition are and what to expect from them. You can understand the types of healthcare decisions you may need to make.
