Getting outside in the winter is a great way to be active as a family. During the winter, many people go sledding, skating, downhill skiing, and snowboarding. Safe environments, safe equipment, proper supervision, and age-appropriate activities will all help decrease the risk of injury when taking part in winter sports and recreation.
