Setting Up MyHealth Records

You can use MyHealth Records if you are an Alberta resident 18 years or older and have identity verified your MyAlberta Digital ID.

For more information, please see the Account Set-up Guide.

Do the following steps to set up a MyHealth Records account.

Step 1: Create a MyAlberta Digital ID.
MyAlberta Digital Identity (ID) gives quick and secure access to certain online government services. You use your Digital ID to sign into your MyHealth Records account.

Step 2: Get your MyAlberta Digital ID identity verified.
When you verify your digital identity, you are proving that you are who you say you are. This important step keeps your health information private and secure.

Follow the instruction on the MyAlberta Digital ID website to verify your identity. You will need your Alberta Driver's License or Alberta ID Card to complete this step.

Step 3: Complete setting up your MyHealth Records account.
After completing Steps 1 and 2:

1)Click “Sign In" to go to the MyHealth Records page.
2)Sign in using your MyAlberta Digital ID.
3)Accept the User Agreement.
4)Enter your Personal Health Number. This links your health information in Netcare to MyHealth Records.

You're now ready to use MyHealth Records to see and manage your health information, record your own information, and print reports.

If you have a problem when registering call eHealth Support Services at 1-800-315-6028 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (MST ) Monday to Friday for assistance.
