  • changes to what you eat and how much you eat
  • taking vitamin and mineral supplements
  • taking care of your mental and emotional health
  • being active
  • keeping other healthy habits you developed before surgery

How often will I have follow-up appointments?

You will have follow-up appointments after surgery with your healthcare team to look for any complications and to check your:

  • weight
  • nutrition
  • medicines
