Sleep disorders specialists are medical doctors who specialize in the diagnosis and surgical and non-surgical treatment of sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea and snoring.
Sleep disorders specialists are not recognized as a separate medical sub-specialty but are usually respirologists or otolaryngologists who are certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
