Micrograms per decilitre (mcg/dL)

Some medical tests report results in micrograms per decilitre (mcg/dL).

  • A microgram is one-millionth of a gram. A gram is about 1/30 of an ounce.
  • A decilitre measures fluid volume that is 1/10 of a litre. A litre is a little bigger than a quart of fluid.
