Language

​Language is the way we use and understand words and sentences so we can communicate. Language may be verbal (spoken and heard), signed, or written. We a​​lso use non-verbal communication such as gestures, eye contact, and body language. People with expressive language problems may struggle to communicate their thoughts, ideas, and needs. People with receptive language problems may struggle to understand what others are saying and what they read.​​​​​​​​​​​​
