Getting ready for your appointment

To get the best images for diagnosis and treatment, it’s important to follow the instructions for your specific test. Each type of imaging test has its own instructions. Follow all the instructions carefully. If you have questions about the information in your letter, call the imaging department where you will be having your test.

You will receive a letter in the mail and in MyAHS Connect that lets you know how to get ready for your imaging appointment. This letter also lets you know:

what to bring to your appointment
what to expect during your test
how to care for yourself after your test
