As your child grows and develops, they begin to learn how to do things for themselves.
Pediatric rehabilitation can help if your child is having challenges in these areas of development.
Help your child take part in everyday routines and build independence. Learn more about grooming and hygiene, toileting, sleep, and self feeding.
Remember to talk to your healthcare provider for any questions or concerns that you have.
Self feeding is an important skill that supports the development of fine motor skills and motor coordination. Practicing finger feeding or using utensils helps your child build independence and confidence. Learning to self feed also helps children take part in family meals and cultural traditions.
