COVID-19 vaccine is free of charge for Albertans age 6 months and older who:
All other Albertans age 6 months and older may be able to get COVID-19 vaccine depending on supply.
If you are not getting the vaccine free of charge at a local public health or community health centre, you will be mailed an invoice for a $100 administrative cost. You can pay this using the COVID-19 vaccines payment process.
COVID-19 vaccines may be available at pharmacies at a cost. Contact your pharmacy for vaccine availability, cost and booking information.

Albertans age 5 years and older who are only getting an influenza vaccine are encouraged to get immunized at a community pharmacy.

Appointments for children age 6 months up to and including age 4 years and their families are available at public health clinics.

If you are age 60 years or older and live in a continuing care or supportive living facility, you will be offered RSV vaccine at your facility.
If you are age 70 years or older and do not live in a continuing care or supportive living facility, you can book an appointment for RSV vaccine.

To book an appointment for a routine immunization (vaccine) for your child, call 811 or your nearest public health or community health centre. Try to call at least 4 weeks in advance of when your child's immunization is due.

If you need an immunization or a skin test for tuberculosis for your healthcare training program, check with your program to find out if you can get immunized through your school. Another option is to contact a private travel health clinic, your doctor, or your local pharmacist and pay for the immunization you need.
