You are recommended to be tested for COVID-19.

ACTION: It is strongly advised that you stay home and minimize contact with others until you are feeling better.

If your symptoms worsen, call 811.

Call 911 if you are seriously ill and need immediate medical attention. Inform them that you may have COVID-19.

  • Practice physical distancing. This is not the same as self-isolation. You do not need to remain indoors, but you do need to avoid being in close contact with people.
  • Practice good hygiene: wash hands often, cover coughs and sneezes, and avoid touching your face.

ACTION: Please fill in and submit the following information to complete a referral for COVID-19 testing.

Any Albertan who tests positive for COVID-19 is legally required to self-isolate until determined to not be infectious by public health.

Testing will tell you whether you have COVID-19 at the time of your test, even if you are not showing symptoms. Testing will not tell you whether you have previously had COVID-19. It will also not tell you whether or not you have any immunity to COVID-19.

If your test result indicates that you do not have COVID-19, you must still practice physical distancing.
