Services are first come first served. Last client will be accepted at 3pm.
Children and youth drop-in counseling. We aim to serve families with children aged 6-17 years of age. We strive to provide helpful conversations and clients can return as often as they need, but will not be guaranteed to see the same counselor each time.
Ages 6 - 17
Services offered: assessment, individual psychotherapy, option to attend groups in some locations. Concurrent treatment is available with an addiction counselor if appropriate. Crisis Services are available through the local emergency department or by calling 911.
Call the ACCESS Addiction and Mental Health line to complete an intake assessment, please note that eligibility for services will be determined through this intake screen. Children and youth addiction and mental health serves clients between the ages of 5 and 17 years of age.

Children’s Psychiatry:
Provides assessments, treatment, medication education and follow-up by psychiatrists/physicians to children and youth.
Disordered Eating Consultant:
Provides assessment of client's eating habits and relationship with food, psycho education, resources, and appropriate referrals to help individuals find appropriate supports for disordered eating.
Mental Health Therapy/ Addiction Counselling:
Therapy with Alberta Health Services (AHS) is a voluntary, change-oriented process for moderate to severe addiction and mental health concerns. Clients must be able to develop goals and actively participate in therapy. A variety of mental health and addiction groups are offered to children youth and families. Clients are encouraged to call Access Addiction and Mental Health (AAMH) to initiate an intake for services.

Assists people find the service that offers treatment for their disordered eating . Healthcare providers, educators, and the public are offered education and consultation about treating disordered eating.
