The Cafeteria provides meals to both staff and visitors
Cafeteria services offer food and beverages at Alberta Health Services facilities. Catering services and vending machines are available at some sites. Each cafeteria services site team is dedicated to creating great food, inspiring healthy eating, and providing outstanding customer service to support the health of Albertans.

Visiting physicians book a total of two days per month. These clinic days vary according to the physician schedule and run from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

Offers education to clients and their families about heart disease and how people can manage it in their daily lives. Services include a hospital-based monitored exercise program for clients living in the community.
Referrals are accepted based on patient's cardiovascular history and requirement for secondary prevention rehabilitation.
Clinic is only held on Tuesdays.
The Adult Feeding Swallowing Service offers help to adults to:
A referral by a physician or other professional is required. Referrals are to be faxed.
Echocardiography uses ultrasound to study the structure and function of the heart, including blood flow through the heart and its valves.

We can’t predict how long you will need to wait in the emergency department. Patients are assessed (triaged) using a standard scoring system called the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) to see how urgent their health needs are.
Fluoroscopy is a real time x-ray like a video, which is used by physicians and staff to assist imaging throughout the body during exams.

General Radiography uses x-rays to produce images of the structures inside the body, particularly bones. X-ray beams can pass through the body, but they are absorbed in different amounts depending on the density of the material they pass through.

Medical doctor with extra years of specialized training for older adults. Areas assessed are:
Completes patient charts, collects data, data entry and coding, collects patient information, dictates notes, and transcribes inpatient and outpatient charts.
There is a fee for copies of health records.
Provides hemodialysis treatments (a process where the client’s blood is passed through a special filter that removes waste products and water).
Most people need 3 treatments every week. Each treatment lasts 4 hours.

This service can provide access to telephone interpreters for more immediate or emergent needs, video remote interpretation and limited in-person interpreters services for pre-arranged appointments.

This service provides comprehensive diagnostic, assessment, treatment and follow-up services within cardiology subspecialties. Services include cardiotilts, cardioversions, and drug studies.
Can arrange for professional translation services with advance notice.

Rehabilitation service for patients who have recently been discharged from hospital or are recovering from surgery.

Clients are attached to a heart monitor while they walk on a treadmill. This test can help detect early symptoms of some forms of heart disease such as angina.
If clients are unable to walk because of leg problems, they are given a drug to stress their heart. A different drug, and a scan taken after the exercise, can be used to see if all parts of the heart get equal amounts of blood when it's stressed.

Ultrasound is an imaging test that captures images of soft tissue organs, blood vessels and tissues using high-frequency sound waves (no radiation). Ultrasound is also known as sonography.
