Provides interpreter services for Covenant Health sites only, to help patients and their families communicate with healthcare providers about their treatment and care. This service can provide access to telephone interpreters for more immediate or emergent needs, video remote interpretation and limited in-person interpreters services for pre-arranged appointments.
Phone Interpreter(s) provide access to over 240 languages, including; Arabic, Chinese, Cree, French, German,Hindi, Inuktitut, Italian, Japanese, Ojibwe, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Somali, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.

Clients are assessed during the intake process to ensure placement in the most appropriate residential care setting available.
Depending on the location, there may be a waitlist for admission. AHS manages the waitlist / bed offer process
There’s a cost for housing (room and board set fee by Alberta Health) and extra services (i.e. laundry, cable, internet, telephone, etc). Care is paid for by AHS.
There is possibility of additional benefits through Alberta Serniors Benefits.
