To be referred to this clinic, it is necessary to meet specific criteria as outlined by the Alberta Cervical Cancer Screening guidelines.
Obstetrics Clinic: provides high risk obstetrics outpatient services for women with pregnancies identified as being at a higher risk.
Gynaecology Clinic: provides outpatient ambulatory services including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment options for women with general gynecology concerns.

Fitting of pessary; problem with vaginal pessary, within 1 month.
Patients are charged for pessary device where applicable.

Multidisciplinary team delivers patient-centered care, with an emphasis on patient engagement and collaborative care. As this is a tertiary care specialty clinic, patients can expect to be discharged back to their referring provider.

Wheelchair accessible, but patient must be able to transfer themselves to the exam table. Non-ambulatory patient referrals will not be accepted.Patients above the age of 18 years are accepted.
There is no fee for government insured health services but fees may apply for certain devices such as pessaries and dilators, etc. if required. Patients without health insurance will incur facility fees and physician fees.

High degree of suspicion of miscarriage under 12 weeks of gestation.

Transplanted patients who meet the triage criteria will be referred internally to an endocrinologist within the Southern Alberta Transplant (ALTRA) program.

Transplanted patients are seen by dermatologists, these are internal referrals within the Southern Alberta Transplant (ALTRA) program.
Skin CancerAt 1-year post-transplant, consider Transplant Dermatology Referral if any of the following criteria are met: • Age >50 years old at the time of transplant• Caucasian• Prior skin cancer• >5 years post-transplantOtherwise, skin cancer surveillance can be arranged by the family physician or community Dermatologist
The transplant psychologist works in collaboration with the transplant social workers inorder to provide both patients and care providers with the emotional support that is often required throughout the transplant process. The transplant psychologist providessupportive counseling and most frequently assists people in dealing with issues relatedto stress, anxiety, depression, hope, loss, grief and relationship issues.
