Clinical Psychology Services

Clinical Psychology Services provides specialized clinical assessment and treatment services to clients referred by their provider within Recovery Alberta (internal providers, psychiatrists, and clinicians).

Formal assessment: Comprehensive assessment using standardized psychological measures.

Group treatment: CPS uses evidenced-based cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), specifically the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders. Clinical psychologists engage each client in collaborative outcome monitoring during group treatment. The client and their referring provider receive treatment recommendations on care transition.
