Weight chart

Keeping track of your weight everyday helps you and your healthcare provider know early on if you are keeping extra fluid. You can use weight chart to show your changes in weight over time.

  • Be sure to weigh yourself first thing in the morning after emptying your bladder and before breakfast.
  • Wear the same type of clothing every time you weigh, or wear no clothing.
  • Record your weight every day.
  • Take this chart with you when you talk to your healthcare provider.

Keep a detailed record of your weight every day.

Watch for a weight increase of 2 lbs. (1kg) or more overnight, or more than 5 lbs. (3kg) in 1 week.
