We have enhanced MyHealth Records with a fresh look, improved features, and a brand-new name - MyHealth Alberta Account!

The refreshed design makes accessing your health information online easier and more intuitive. It brings key features into a single, streamlined experience, we have reduced the frustration of searching across multiple websites and tools.

What is improved?

• A cleaner, modernized layout for easier navigation
• Streamlined access to your health records
• Better performance on mobile and desktop
• Improved clarity in menus, labels and tools

All existing account information remains the same – you do not need to create a new account or change how you log in.

Through MyHealth.Alberta.ca you can continue to access your lab results, immunizations, medication history, and other personal health information.

Health services that help you take a more active role in your healthcare include:

• Mobile Health Card – View and manage your Mobile Health Card and personal health number.
• Emergency Department Wait Times Viewer – Check near real-time emergency department wait times by location.

• Symptom Checker - Get guidance on what to do next based on your symptoms.
• Find a Provider - Search for doctors and providers accepting new patients in your area.
• Find a Clinic - Locate health clinics near you.

My Personal Records / MyChart

There are no changes to either of these applications, only the functionality is now available as part of the MyHealth Alberta app. Anything you could previously access is still available, along with new services and features.

• My Personal Records - View your health records, immunizations, medication history, diagnostic reports, and most lab results.
• MyChart - Securely message your care team, prepare for appointments, manage treatment, and view test results.

Healthcare Services

Your MyHealth Alberta Account consolidates access to multiple applications making it easier to access reliable health information, services, and programs.

MyHealth Records has transitioned to MyHealth Alberta Account. In addition to My Personal Records, MyChart, and the Mobile Health Card, there are expanded health and well-being resources available for Albertans.

MyHealth Records has automatically transitioned to MyHealth Alberta Account. Access to your health record using My Personal Records and MyChart remains the same, along with additional services and features.

Existing MyHealth Records App users will see their current app update to MyHealth Alberta Account. Access to your health record using My Personal Records and MyChart remains the same, along with additional services and features.

Albertans signed in to a MyHealth Alberta Account can access My Personal Records, MyChart, and additional services to help manage their health and well-being. Your experience using these services remains unchanged.

Signing in with your Alberta.ca Account provides access to your health information, services, and personalized health recommendations so you can better manage your well-being.

Albertans 14 years of age or older with a valid Alberta ID or driver’s licence can create an Alberta.ca Account to access their MyHealth Alberta Account.

The MyHealth Alberta support team is happy to help you resolve this issue. Please call 1-844-401-4016 and select Option 1 for assistance.

Make sure that both your Alberta.ca Account and your MyHealth Alberta Account are fully verified. You can check your verification status by selecting the down arrow in the top right corner of your MyHealth Alberta Account homepage, then choosing “Verify Your Account”. You can also check your information in MyPersonal Records Profile, you will see a green check indicates your account has been verified.

Verification helps ensure you can view your most up to date health information.

If you are verified and still missing test results, visit the Help Center or call the MyHealth Alberta support team at 1-844-401-4016 and select Option 1 for assistance.

Parents and guardians can request access online to health information for children under 16. For details and frequently asked questions, please visit the Parent and Guardian Access page.

Historical records in the provincial electronic health system may be available online using My Personal Records or MyChart. Learn how to access your records.

If your record does not appear, it is best to speak directly with your health care provider. They can guide you on the most appropriate way to request and access your records.

To create or verify your Alberta.ca Account, the information on your driver’s licence or identification card must match the details on your Alberta Health Care card.

If your information is incorrect or outdated, please visit a participating registry agent to update your records before trying again.

My Personal Records and MyChart allow you to securely share your health information with someone you trust.

If you need to recover your Alberta.ca Account username or password, use Find my account or contact Alberta.ca Account Support at 1-844-643-2789.

Access your Mobile Health Card through the Alberta Wallet to view your Personal Health Number.

The Mobile Health Card is accessible by web browser or mobile app. You may also view the health cards of your child, spouse/partner, or others who have shared their information with you.

For physical health cards, please find a registry office or contact the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) at 780-427-1432 for support.
