Provides comprehensive breastfeeding and infant feeding support to pregnant women, new mothers, fathers, and babies. We offer breastfeeding preparation in pregnancy, latch support, procedures (frenotomy, lip tie, breast abscess drainage, bleb removal), treatment of breast and infant conditions (low supply, oversupply, mastitis, candidiasis, vasospasm, thrush, diaper rash, reflux). We also assist with inducing lactation for adoptive parents or those using a surrogate.
Urgent requests will be accommodated to the best of our ability.
Fees may apply for breastfeeding supplies and are applicable to individuals WITHOUT Alberta Heath Care and services NOT covered by Alberta Health Care.
