Clinical Psychology Services

Clinical Psychology Services is a complementary program that accepts referrals from within Addiction and Mental Health (internal providers, psychiatrists, and clinicians). The program provides standardized assessment services and psychotherapy in a group setting. Individual follow up may be recommended.

Laboratory Services

Laboratory Services provides collection of blood and body fluids for tests ordered by your doctor or healthcare provider including a comprehensive range of routine and specialized lab testing and clinical consultations:

• blood and body fluid sample collection
• biochemistry and toxicology
• electrocardiogram (ECG)
• genetics and genomics
• urinalysis
• transfusion medicine
• hematology
• coagulation studies
• microbiology
• public health testing
• serology
• surgical pathology
• cytopathology
• autopsy pathology
• student practicum training for medical lab technologists and medical lab assistants

Northern Alberta Clinical Trials and Research Centre

Services may include:

• risk management and local impact assessments
• reviewing of contracts
• access to qualified researchers who can perform clinical trials from phase I-IV
• access to a phase I clinical trial facility
• clinical research and orientation
• supporting the development of regional clinical trials, research groups, and networks
