A urinary catheter is a small, flexible tube that is used to collect urine from the body.
Unlike other urinary catheters, a condom catheter is not inserted into the urethra. Instead, the condom fits over the penis. The condom keeps the catheter in place as the urine flows through the penis and the catheter, and then into a collection bag. The bag may be strapped to the leg.
