Music

​​​​​​​​Music can be helpful for people with dementia. This is because the area of the brain that remembers and responds to music tends to be one of the last areas that dementia affects. Many people living with very late stages of dementia respond to hearing their favourite types of music. They may even sing along to their favourite songs. ​
