As you try different treatment options, remember that if something doesn’t work the way you thought it would, think about other options. Talk with your healthcare provider to find what will work for you.
Watch for worsening clicking, catching, or triggering when you move your fingers or thumbs. Contact your healthcare team if:
- tenderness in your hand prevents you from doing your normal activities
- your finger or thumb becomes stuck in a bent position
Call your healthcare team any time you:
- have questions
- notice your symptoms getting worse
- don’t know how to properly wear your splint
- have been waiting longer than expected for test results or to hear about an appointment
If you can’t reach your healthcare provider and need health advice or information, call Health Link any time, day or night, by dialing 811.
