Delirium is a sudden, confused state of mind that may come and go over the day. When you have delirium, you may have changes in the way you think. Your personality and behaviour may change quite a lot. You may have trouble paying attention to what's going on around you or doing the things you normally can do.
Delirium is a warning sign that you need help right away. Call your family doctor, nurse, healthcare provider, or Health Link at 811.
