Finding out that your child has a serious or life-limiting illness is a shock. At first, you may not know ​what to do. But remember that you are not alone.

There are many health care providers and services in Alberta that can help your child, you, and your whole family. They can help you make the most of your time together, and make sure your child has the best life possible.

The information here can help your family deal with a child's diagnosis, plan for a child's end-of-life care, and cope with grief after a child dies.
