Weight can affect all areas of your life and affects everyone differently. Your healthy weight is not about the numbers on a scale, it is what you can reach and stay at, while enjoying the healthiest life that you can.
Learn about weight, how weight impacts health, and some of the tools you can use to find out if you're at a higher risk of developing health problems because of your body weight or shape. These include body mass index (BMI) and measuring your waist. These tools aren't for everyone. Talk to your healthcare provider about your level of health risk.
