How you feel about your health and weight may line up with what’s important to you and your family. How you think your weight is affecting your life could be a good way for you to measure progress.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.John Lennon
Gwen's Story talks about her journey to a better quality of life. Journey can mean different things to different people. In this module we use journey to refer to the path you’re on to improving your health. It’s not about the end point or destination. She describes what got her motivated to get healthier. For her it was her grandchildren and being able to ride her all-terrain vehicle (ATV).
Were there exact moments or thoughts that you had that motivated your journey towards a better quality of life?
